10 days until one of the most special days of the year, the day when we celebrate Suri’s birth, 6 years ago, I can’t believe it!

But before and apologies for the massive delay I would like to share with you her Birthday Party last year, the theme was Princess Power and it was a fantastic party!

The venue could only be our favourite nursery London Nursery Schools, Bluebell Cottage.

Decorations by myself, well not completely, I bought templates online and did some DYI. All printed at home thanks to my Epson EcoTank ET-2500 (highly recommended).

The cake, cupcakes and cookies, and already for the second year because it’s the best we found so far and the guests always love it are from Cakes by Robin. They were so perfect that it was a shame to cut/eat it, but when you try it you move on from the visual experience and start a fabulous taste experience (YUMMY).

The entertainment was from Dazzle and Fizz, so much fun! We had Barbie and Ken who did an amazing job entertaining the children (and adults as well as we had a little dance too :P).

Our happy family! 😉

An even happier girl 😉

A proud mum!

And another one of our little family.

All the backdrops were from Ne Riba Events Styling.

An excited girl 😉

I have to say I enjoyed very much going through last year’s photos to write this blog post, so many good memories, so much fun!

Now I’m getting ready for the 24th again, this year I’m struggling with lack of time but this is such an important date for Suri that I just can’t miss it without a party! Will share everything on Instagram and I will really try to do a vlog like we did two years ago, you can watch it below.

To make it easier, here is the full list of suppliers, all of them highly recommended:

Since Suri was born I only trust two brands for her skincare, Mustela and Uriage. Both well known and a reference in Portugal although they are French brands.

Every time I went to Portugal after Suri was born I always made sure I stocked up with both these products as it was so hard or impossible to find it here in the UK (this was 4 years ago).

As I love their Facial Cold Cream I started buying all the products from Mustela as I usually prefer to use everything from the same brand if I really like it, lucky me because this year I saw it for sale here in the UK in one of the local pharmacies here in St John’s Wood, perfection.

Shame they don’t sell here the big sizes they have in Portugal as I would prefer rather than having to keep buying it all the time but well, at least I know that I don’t need to wait until I go to Portugal to buy it.

Mustela Range

As she is not a baby anymore she now just uses the Facial Cream, Eau de Son, Shampoo, Body Lotion, and Dermo-Cleansing but I used to buy her more products from the range and fully recommend it.

The texture, smell and results make me loyal to the brand and although she is not a baby anymore I will keep using for a while.

We are huge fans of My 1st Years since the moment we received our first blue box, and I say we because it’s not only Suri that loves their products, I absolutely adore it as well.

To start with I appreciate when a brand makes the effort to excel on the packaging, after all first impressions do count and I have to admit that it makes me feel special thinking that the brand had that extra care when sending me one of their products and makes me value it more because such precious goodies need to be packed accordingly. This Tiffany Blue box conveys the luxury of what comes inside.

Then comes the personalisation, most of their products can be be personalised with the child’s name (how cute is that??), kids love it, mum’s think it’s adorable and on the practical side there’s no better name label than that.

And last but definitely not least their product selection is fantastic and carefully chosen with excellent taste and quality.

On a personal level not only Suri has many of their products but it’s also our first choice when gifting one of her friends.

The last thing I bough and can’t wait to use is the Oversized Bobble Hat or shall I say the Oversize Bobble HATS, yes, because I couldn’t resist to buy both kids and adults’ version!
