PAPINEE – The gift of imaginationP1240444

It was the second time I’ve noticed PAPINEE’s popup shop in Harrods but this time Suri noticed it as well.

She grabbed one of the Lions and its book and asked me to read it, we sat on the floor and I read her not only the Lion’s book but all of them, we just couldn’t stop!

PAPINEE Harrods

After getting home I had to explore a little bit more this beautiful brand and found that it’s inspired by the founder’s mother who wanted to give her child the world and in doing so turned their living room into the Pyramids of Giza, Mount Fuji and King Arthur’s Round Table, taking him on the most incredible imaginative journeys and conquests of learning & fun.

A natural storyteller, the mother dedicated every Sunday afternoon to reading, sharing and playing with disadvantaged children, referring to all as ‘Papinee’s’, a word she invented to make children feel special, loved and brilliant.

Today PAPINEE the movement is in reverence to her and incredible storytellers everywhere who endeavour to give all children around the world the gift of imagination so that they can be inspired, and against all odds, make their dreams come true in collaboration with Harrods this January.

It is a beautiful brand full of love and aimed at making children’s minds, hearts and souls sing.

Mustela

Since Suri was born I only trust two brands for her skincare, Mustela and Uriage. Both well known and a reference in Portugal although they are French brands.

Every time I went to Portugal after Suri was born I always made sure I stocked up with both these products as it was so hard or impossible to find it here in the UK (this was 4 years ago).

As I love their Facial Cold Cream I started buying all the products from Mustela as I usually prefer to use everything from the same brand if I really like it, lucky me because this year I saw it for sale here in the UK in one of the local pharmacies here in St John’s Wood, perfection.

Shame they don’t sell here the big sizes they have in Portugal as I would prefer rather than having to keep buying it all the time but well, at least I know that I don’t need to wait until I go to Portugal to buy it.

Mustela Range

As she is not a baby anymore she now just uses the Facial Cream, Eau de Son, Shampoo, Body Lotion, and Dermo-Cleansing but I used to buy her more products from the range and fully recommend it.

The texture, smell and results make me loyal to the brand and although she is not a baby anymore I will keep using for a while.
