For the 3rd year we are (of course) attending Chestertons Polo in the Park this Sunday (Family Day). It’s now a not to be missed Summer event that every year we look forward to attend and I can only recommend it to all the families.

Chestertons Polo in the Park, will be back in Hurlingham Park on the 9 10 & 11 June, for the ninth year of the annual Polo competition.

Combining world-class sport, a host of London’s most exciting restaurants and Europe’s longest outdoor bar, Chestertons Polo in the Park is the perfect setting for polo fans and London’s social society to kick-off their summer season in style.

Finals Day on Sunday 11 June will see the crowning of the winner of Chestertons Polo in the Park 2017. The last day of action is perfect for all ages with fun and interactive activities for children taking place for the whole morning before the hotly contested polo gets underway. Sharky & George will host children’s entertainment with activities including:

  • –  Rocket balloon launching and giant bubble making
  • –  Space hopper steeplechase, mega sack races, rocket balloon javelin
  • –  Giant musical matts
  • –  Ultimate waterbomb catapulting competition
  • –  Giant musical bumps
  • –  Biggest game of musical statues ever
  • –  100-a-side tug of war

The pitch side entertainment ensures that spectators are treated to a day of non-stop action both on and off the field. An array of exclusive bars, including the renowned Mahiki Bar, Champagne Lanson Garden Bar and Fever Tree Bar & Garden provide quintessential locations to enjoy world class polo and music whilst sipping a thirst-quenching cocktail. For those with withdrawal symptoms from the Kings Road, there is an onsite shopping village selling unique luxury items.

Following the success of 2016, the Grazing Paddock, polo’s greatest pop-up food festival, will return bigger and even tastier in 2017 with many of London’s most sensational restaurants in attendance to ensure the fans of Chestertons Polo in the Park 2017 are treated like polo royalty.
